La Harpe

A set of nine (sold out) faux French books.
Handmade labels on hand-painted, stained and distressed covers.
About 8" x 5.25" x varying thicknesses.
Tie them in bundles, stack them under a large cloche or just line them up on shelves,
they make great decorative objects (but a very confusing read.).

Strawberry moon at the Needleworks

Just out playing with a new camera, and stopped by the old 1854 Paris Town Hall which, thankfully, has just recently been saved.

Faux Buffon

My newly constructed version of 7 volumes of Buffon's natural history books.
Approximately 8 x 5.25 x 1.6inches.
Sold.

Hard case

SOLD
I recently rescued this metal clad suitcase, did some repair work, added a faded black multi-layer aged paint finish over
what was once orange/sienna, and aged the hardware a smidge.
The name is painted in 14K gold, and the interior is lined with old ecru and blue floral-patterned paper.

27.5" x 9" x 15" plus hardware
