Booth photos

A few photos of the booth as we were just finishing setting up.
Thanks to all who came out... it was a great (albeit exhausting) weekend.
And now we're toiling away again, getting ready for the open house in less than 2 weeks!
More about that soon.

Little John Bull

I'm always reluctant to post anything throughout the summer.
We start working on Fall and Christmas items in late spring, and have little else to post for the warm months.
But, the first show of the season starts in a couple of weeks
(Ball's Falls Thanksgiving Festival, Oct. 9-12... more about that soon.)
and this one's not too Christmasy, is it?
A little Dresden-esque John Bull steam engine.
Made of recycled paper, cardboard and found objects, with aged cast metal wheels.
About 4inches long x 3.5inches tall.

One of many, many new items we'll be taking to the show.

Finials

About 28.5inches tall x 5.5inches wide.
Made from a wide array of materials; plaster, fiberglass, wood, resin... and finished in a heavily aged paint finish.

Caged sconce

Just finished a bunch of different lights for our house, and can't decide which to keep.
Here is one of my favorites, (though that seems to change by the hour)
but I like the contrast between the ornate fixture and the rough, handmade cage.

15"tall x 7"wide x 7.25"deep
